Job Description
In this job you will be reviewing online search results in order to improve their content and quality. You will be required to provide feedback and analysis on content found in search engine results and provide ratings on their relevance to the search terms used. Another aspect of this role will involve reviewing the language used in the search results by examining grammar, tone and cultural relevance.
Through this work you will be making a valuable contribution by expressing your opinion on the quality and content of what is currently out there on the web. You will play a part in improving the quality of one of the largest search engines in the world using both your PC and required Smartphone device.
Application and Exam
Lionbridge looks for people who know English well and have enough time (20 hours a week on average) to work in job. If your application is approved, Lionbridge sends a mail about exam and exam deadline. After 5-10 days of receiving mail, 1 week exam duration starts. You are expected to study on 160 page long Guideline and complete 3 parts of exam. After each part Lionbridge sends an approval mail to continue with next part. Final results are shared with you within 1-2 days after deadline.
Lionbridge Personalized Internet Assessor / Appen Yukon Project Exam Part 1: Theoretical
Candidates are tested on their knowledge & understanding of General Guidline and general concepts such as definition of website, webpage, user, query, page quality measures, flags etc.
This part consists of 32 True/False questions that has 4 statements, equalling to a total of 128 questions.

Candidates are given 7 different webpage URLs in order. You are expected to evaluate page quality rating of each page and commenting on your rating along with marking flags, accomplishing research on each website.

The hardest part of exam expects you to combine your theoretical, page quality and needs met knowledge and perform real job operation. Candidates should rate pages and comment on them for 7 different user query. Each query has 10-12 search engine results that needs to be rated. You must perform at least 80% accuracy to succeed.
